About Me

I'm a graduate student at Texas A&M University.  All my life, I have had a love for art, especially painting.  Painting is my escape from the busy world I  live.  I want to thank my mom and dad for all the trips y'all made to take me to art camp each summer and all the love and support y'all have given!  I want to also thank Mr. Peavy, my high school art teacher, for giving me the chance to persue my talent and help me advance in it.  Your rough critiques only made me stronger and your high expectations taught me to reach for the stars!  Last, I want to thank my caring and loving boyfriend Tim.  You have helped me paint, outline, and even rhinestone!  You help make my business a success!!!! 

I started off making only initials.  Initials are very special to me.  When my parents named me, my mom wanted to make sure I had her initials.  I ended up with "MKW".  I always have personalized bags, jewelry, or things passed down from my mom because I love my name and love its orgin.   

I came up with this idea when I was decorating my dorm. It was so bland and I needed to spice it up with color and a little touch of "Markay." As I recieved more orders, people brought new ideas to the table and the business expanded. I take pride in the work I do and hope you all enjoy the letters and designs as much as I do!
